Data Backup Policy

Aruho CRM is a local-first desktop application. Your sales data is saved on your own computer. This policy explains how Aruho protects your data and what you're responsible for.

What Aruho does

Aruho autosaves your changes as you work. The app includes a manual backup option that exports a snapshot of your data folder to a location of your choice.

What you're responsible for

Because Aruho doesn't sync your data to our servers, you are responsible for maintaining backups of your Aruho data folder.

Recommended setup

For extra protection, place your Aruho data folder inside a cloud-synced folder such as iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox. Your cloud provider will keep a synced copy across devices and protect against local hardware failure.

Restoring

To restore from a backup, replace your Aruho data folder with a previous snapshot while Aruho is closed, then reopen the app. Instructions are included in the app's help documentation.
